Fly around Harlech Castle

A short edit from some of the footage from the beautiful Harlech castle. It becomes even more obvious why they chose to build it in this location when you remember that the sea would have come all the way to the base of the cliff in those days. The sea has retreated but the castle remains.

We were asked to film the castle for Cadw, the Welsh Government's historic environment service looking after some of Wales' most important heritage sites such as Harlech.

We used our DJI Inspire pro with a 45mm lens for some of the wider shots giving us a different perspective.

Harlech Castle, located in Harlech, Gwynedd, Wales, is a medieval fortification, constructed atop a spur of rock close to the Irish Sea. It was built by Edward I during his invasion of Wales between 1282 and 1289.
